Heroin addiction is on the rise these days amongst youngsters as well as many others in the older age group. Treatment of drug addiction is usually considered to be a long process which leads to either a long span of withdrawal symptoms or other complications to the patients. Ibogaine heroin treatment is one of such treatments, which is used against drug addiction. It is the anti-addictive properties of ibogaine that eases this process to lessening heroin addiction and reducing it totally after a while.

Heroin and its addiction:
Commonly known as an addictive drug, heroin infact was initially introduced as a non addictive form of morphine and was used for curing cough. It is also called as diamorphine and was synthesised for the first time in 1874 as a product by Bayer pharmaceuticals. Though using heroin on a regular basis helps increase tolerance levels, but too much of a dose can lead to imbalance psychologically as well as dependency and habituation physically. This means that your normal functions would also require a boost of opioids to work. If you happen to miss even one dose, the consequences can be painful and would create an uneasy situation for the person.
Many people try and fail to kick the habit of heroin dependency a lot of times. But if it is left half way, the major problem they face is a feeling of loneliness and relative uneasiness for a longer period. Many people even relapse into the same phase of dependency.

Ibogaine heroin treatment:
Ibogaine is a substance known majorly for its anti addictive properties. This is used for helping drug addicts overcome their addiction. It is manufactured from an African shrub Tabernathe iboga and is a nerve stimulant. It blocks dopamine and helps a patient overcome heroin addiction faster without leaving much of the withdrawal symptoms and carvings. The detox offered by ibogaine is pretty mild and efficient. Along with major symptoms, ibogaine also helps heroin addicts to overcome PAWS (post-acute withdrawal syndrome).

Post treatment:
Taking only the treatment won’t be enough. One needs to take care even after the treatment to systematically eliminate the habituation of heroin. Mostly the treatment is 95% successful, but there are chances in a few cases that the heroin dependency might relapse. Ibogaine is definitely helpful, but the main catch here is, Ibogaine heroin treatment needs to be continued for quite a while, regularly and in needed amounts. If it needs the person to increase or decrease the dosage of ibogaine, then that should be done without fail. Withdrawing the treatment in between or skipping a few doses will complicate matters further and may lead to anxiety, hyperactivity, tremors, pale face, slow responses etc.

Ibogaine is one of the best solutions offered by pharmacology in the past and is continuing even today in modern era. Proper medical advice and adequate amount of ibogaine for heroin is very beneficial for the addicted person on long term basis. Getting the habit totally out is extremely necessary and ibogaine does just that, without side effects.
